The King Copper Motel in Copper Harbor, MI boasts that they have “closest lodging to Lake Superior in the Keweenaw Peninsula with the largest, most breathtaking views of the beautiful water.” While this may be true during their April-October operating months; February is a different story, snow drifts piling up until only the red shingled roof is visible.
